Ion Channel–Targeted Drug Discovery

Our longest-running program — and the one that has reached patients. Three IND-approved candidates for atopic dermatitis and allergic rhinitis have emerged from this pipeline, each built on ORAI1, TMEM16A, and TRPV3.

Structural & Computational Drug Screening

We identify drug-binding pockets on ion channel structures using ML-based molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulation — building the computational foundation for in silico screening of chemical libraries.

Project 3

Sensory Neuron Physiology & Pain Biology

Sensory neurons in the dorsal root ganglion are the origin of chronic itch and pain. We profile natural compounds and small molecules that suppress DRG neuron excitability across multiple ion channel targets simultaneously.

Project 4

AAV-Based Gene Therapy

Delivering ion channel–modulating constructs directly to sensory neurons via AAV — for spatial, cell-type–specific relief of chronic neuropathic pain.
